The phrase Interior Design covers so many different design services – what does it mean at Lisa Garcia Architecture + Interior Design? No matter what type of design assistance you’re looking for, we’ll consider these four elements.

Defining the Character of Your Space. We’ll work together to determine how different areas in your home relate to one another and how their style reflects and reinforces your lifestyle and your home’s unique character. Looking at examples to determine what you like and don’t like is an important part, but also defining the feeling you want a room to convey – warm, inviting, sophisticated, fun, kid-friendly – is just as important to setting the framework for a successful interior design project.
Setting the Flow.
Scale, Color, Pattern, Texture.
Layering Art and Accessories.

I love working on small and large Interior Design projects, independently or in conjunction with an Architectural project.

Complete Home Updates sourcing new finishes, lighting, and hardware to modernize the overall feel of your home.
Individual Room Concepts and Renovations that LGA+ID can manage from design to installation, or help you define a framework to build a room over time. I have experience designing complex spaces such as Kitchen and Bathrooms, but also love working on Family Rooms and Bedrooms.
Assistance Sourcing specific “Hard” Finishes (flooring, stone, tile) or individual “Soft” Furnishings (furniture, window treatments, and accessories). If there’s a “to the Trade” discount to be had – I’ll share it with you – and I often mix retail and trade pieces to create the right balance of quality and value to work within your budget.
Color Consultations for Paint and Wall Coverings.
In-Home Styling of Accessories and Art Placement.

Depending on how much help you’re looking for the process will vary, but here’s how a typical room design will evolve:

Define Budget and Renovation Schedule.
Measure and Draw Floor Plans of the Existing Space.
Review Concept Style Boards for New Space.
Prioritizing Purchases.
Installation and Styling.

How are Interior Design projects Billed? Smaller projects are billed hourly, based upon three, tiered hourly rates. Depending on the complexity of a project – such as the design and renovation of a Kitchen or Bathroom – a percent of construction may be more economical. But before beginning work on any project, we’ll setup a Complimentary Consultation, after which you’ll receive a estimate for services and design timeline.
